Finding your pefect venue

Posted in odds&ends, Reception at 5:01 am by molliecushingham

Finding a venue is usually the hardest thing brides have to decide on. It is the first thing everyone wants to cross off the list! Here are a few of my favorites, maybe they will inspire you! Happy Planning!

PS-Before you go venue hunting sit down and customize your budget,  think about what style wedding you want, and where you want to get married! That will narrow down the choices significantly. For example when you say lets look at venues, you have thousands of selections in GA! But if you say, lets look at contemporary venues in the $10,000 range, in Atlanta, you have just made your life a lot less stressful and saved a few tanks of gas!

The Cotton Barn at Pineola Farms

location: Warner Robins

This is definitely for the southern charm wedding! The barn can be dressed up or down. You could even get married in the pecan orchard!

The Armory Ballroom

Location: Macon

I love this space,  it is totally a blank canvas! The hardwood floors and light blue walls are easy to work with.

Defoor Centre

Location: Atlanta

This location is so unique! I love the dramatic art galleries, and vaulted ceiling in the ballroom.

Georgian Club

Location: Atlanta

SKY LINE VIEW…enough said? OK, also enjoy the outdoor ceremony site next door at galleria gardens with a 20ft waterfall, bell tower. fountains, and cobblestone courtyard.

Georgia Aquarium

Location: Atlanta

Receptions overlooking the fish, not to mention Wolfgang Puck catering.

St Regis Hotel

location: Atlanta

This venue is for the traditional upscale ballroom bride! The Astor ballroom is absolutely stunning, I love the chandeliers.  You can’t go wrong with a ceremony on the grand terrace.
